This course is part of a series on Montessori Philosophy. The ‘What Montessori Offers the 21st Century’ course is designed to bring relevance to the Montessori approach to our modern lives and education in a practical fashion to those who have no prior experience, and to act as a refresher for those who have had previous training. The focus is on highlighting what the Montessori approach can give to children and families that may not always be at the forefront of other educational approaches. This course may also support work you do with parents of children at a Montessori setting. This course features videos, reflection exercises, audio, discussion opportunity and a final quiz based assessment.

Jeremy Clarke

Jeremy joined the MCI academic team in 2013. He previously taught in Nursery and Reception age classes for 13 years and was at Gorton Mount Primary when it became the first state school in the UK to adopt the Montessori approach. At MCI he is the Leader of E-Learning and a tutor to distance learning students. He is also an assessor for MEAB. He received his BA (QTS) in Environmental Science and Outdoor Studies in Ambleside. He completed his Montessori Diploma at MCI.
