The importance of a refelctive approach will be linked to how we may gain an understanding of underlying issues such as gender, social influence and peace within the classroom.

Leanne Ridgway

Leanne began working with chidlfen while living in Zimbabwe where she spent a number of years working with orphans and vulnerable children. Looking to expand her knowledge of children's education she gained a level 3 in Early years and worked in pre-school settings. Wanting to make a difference to children, and have a positive impact on the world she fell in love with the Montessori philosophy, completing her level 4 qualification in 2016 then moving onto studying for her degree. Teaching in a wonderful Montessori school, Leanne "enjoys the privilege of witnessing the wonders of learning everyday along side exploring wide topics through research."

Having gained a degree in Pedagogy in Rome Laura moved to London and decided to deep her knowledge of Pedagogy into the Montessori Philosophy as well as BA in Early Childhood Studies.. Gained her Foundation Degree in Montessori practice in 2015 at MCI she now works as a Montessori teacher in a Montessori nursery where everyday: " I feel the privilege of being surrounded by little people's curiosity and freedom!"
