About This Course

This special course has been created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Montessori’s birth. Barbara Isaacs, together with Jana Morgan Herman and Sid Mohandas, consider some unique and important aspects of Montessori education. Learn about the Montessori legacy and the foundations of what we see today to be Montessori’s Cosmic vision.

Please note this course is staffed and running from Late Summer 2020 for three weeks. However you can access the course any time after this and complete in your own time. You will have a minimum of one month access to this course, depending on when you start.


What You'll Learn

This course will cover: Maria Montessori the Activist - early support for women; Montessori’s time in India 1939–1946; Science of Peace; Reflection on peace education.


Requirements

There are no requirements to take this course, just an interest in education, peace and Montessori.
